Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Wesley witnessed firsthand the impact of fossil fuels on local communities. This early exposure to environmental challenges fueled a deep-seated commitment to advocating for sustainable solutions. Wesley graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Supply Chain Management, where he developed a solid analytical foundation and a passion for practical, sustainable practices.
Determined to make a difference, Wesley pursued a legal education at Howard University School of Law, focusing on clean energy and environmental law. During his studies, he gained valuable experience through internships with the Department of Justice’s Environmental Justice Division, Environmental Protection Agency, and Howards Environmental and Climate Justice Center. These roles gave him critical insights and hands-on experience in environmental advocacy and regulation, instilling a deep understanding of the field.
As a first-year associate at Clean Energy Counsel, Wesley is dedicated to advancing clean energy projects and promoting environmental stewardship. He is committed to using his experience and expertise to help clients navigate complex environmental issues and achieve their clean energy goals. His background equips him to provide valuable insights and practical solutions in this vital field.
