Passionate about combating the effects of climate change, Tyler has dedicated his career to the development and financing of renewable projects in an effort to speed the transition to cleaner energy sources.
Tyler has represented lenders and investors in the financing of energy infrastructure projects involving a wide variety of complex transactions, including tax equity transactions, purchase and sale agreements, and secured lending transactions. These have included land-based and offshore wind, solar photovoltaic projects, and battery storage assets throughout the United States. Tyler’s experience includes representing a lender syndicate in providing $2.1 billion in construction and term debt financing and a $280 million letter of credit facility for a portfolio of three utility-scale solar projects, which includes co-located battery energy storage systems. Prior to joining Clean Energy Counsel, Tyler was an associate in the Global Project, Energy and Infrastructure Finance Group of Milbank LLP.
A Southern California native, Tyler lives in Los Angeles with his partner and two cats. He enjoys traveling, spending time at the beach and sampling new restaurants with family and friends.
