Todd A. Larsen

As in-house and outside counsel for utilities and project developers, Todd has accrued a deep understanding of the needs and drivers in the renewable energy space. Over more than 15 years, he has helped clients navigate complex transactions and reach successful business solutions.
Todd’s expertise includes drafting and negotiating effective contracts, including those involving power purchase and similar energy services agreements, EPC agreements, equipment supply and services agreements, interconnection agreements, land option and lease agreements, and more. He regularly drafts RFP documents and proposals, creates community solar platforms, and works on mergers and acquisitions.
Todd handles energy storage, solar, wind, biogas, and hydroelectric projects across the country, ranging from 100 kilowatts to over 500 megawatts. He knows that each project has its intricacies and unique challenges. That awareness helps him quickly focus in on effective and efficient solutions.
When not working, Todd enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors, serving in his church and community, practicing martial arts, and working on his hobby as a fiction writer.
