Shae Harvey

Assisting with the development of clean energy infrastructure is how Shae steps up to help solve the global warming crisis and ensure a sustainable future for us all. She specializes in negotiating and drafting effective contracts that maximize value and drive results, including power purchase agreements, purchase and sale agreements, construction agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, lease agreements, and easements. Shae also regularly provides advice related to project and contract management.
Shae brings over 20 years of combined in-house and law firm experience in the field of energy law to Clean Energy Counsel. Her specialization in renewable energy includes nine years as in-house counsel at Southern California Edison Company, where she supported energy procurement, decommissioning efforts, and supply chain needs. She spent another eight years at leading international law firms working on the development, finance, and construction of renewable energy projects throughout the United States.
Shae earned recognition from California Super Lawyers magazine in 2004, 2005, and 2006 as a "Rising Star." She served as a Federal Judicial Law Clerk for the Hon. Kenneth M. Hoyt in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. In her spare time, Shae enjoys gardening, farming, and spending time with her family.
