Bethanie Lyons
Attorney
Bethanie’s interest in clean energy stems from her undergraduate studies in biological and environmental engineering and her love of the outdoors. She has pursued a legal career in clean energy in an effort to help bridge the gap between engineering and the law and to assist in the effort towards a more sustainable future.
Bethanie brings nearly a decade of experience in the energy industry, both as an engineer and an attorney to Clean Energy Counsel. She counsels clients on a wide range of transactions in the renewable energy industry with a particular focus on project development matters, including power purchase agreements and other long-term offtake agreements, engineering, procurement and construction contracts, equipment supply and warranty agreements, and operation and maintenance agreements for solar, battery, wind, and geothermal assets.
In her spare time, Bethanie enjoys skiing and hiking in the Colorado mountains with her family, playing volleyball, and woodworking.
